This is a brand new 11x17 picture/photo frame (meaning a 11'' x 17'' or a 17'' x 11'' print will fit just right). Solid wood, simple round-profile 0.625'' wide and 0.75'' thick molding with a 0.25'' deep rabbet is covered with a thin layer of gesso and painted black. Could not find an 11 X 17 frame in any of the local stores. This wooden frame is very solid and the price is great. Would cost a lot more if you had to have it custom made.

My husband wanted a plain black, very inexpensive frame for an aeronautic chart. This one fits the bill. It is true to size, and from the front the frame looks good. The frame was also packaged extremely well and arrived unbroken. The back is a different matter: it is unpainted, the backing is cheap brown cardboard, and the hanger must be installed. I need a couple more standard-size frames, but I do not think I will order this brand again.

I was first interested in these products based on price and quality of the product. When I first received my three frames, two came with their glass broken. I had called the company and later emailed to request a refund. They promised to ship two new frames ASAP. I never received any confirming email when the new products would send and had to call once again. (Employee was very annoyed and sarcastic)
After opening the second package, I found yet again the glass to be shattered all in the box! And no wonder since they placed the glass outward! It's not even worth asking for yet ANOTHER refund...
OK frames for price but POOR shipping!!!!!! If you sell and send frames, PACK THEM PROPERLY!
