best no-alarm alarm October 31, 2009 S. Pruet 19 out of 20 found this review helpful
My kid wears hearing aids, due to severe hearing loss, so she finds it hard to wake up to an alarm. I found this item on Amazon.com and have had a lot of success with it. Once we set the time and alarm time, there is a switch on or off, that my daughter uses to activate it. She puts it on her arm, and is vibrates continually until she turns it off. She has noticed that it also vibrates every hour, a few quick vibrations, then off on it's own ~ not sure how to turn that feature off, but other than that we love it. She has her independence without waking up the rest of the house to loud obnoxious alarms or one of us having to get up to wake her up.
Great Silent Alarm December 12, 2009 Rodrigo Gonzalez (Flushing, NY United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a great silent alarm. I get up early to workout and don't want to wake up my wife or 10 month old daughter. This gets the job done and given the size and price point that it's at, this is a bargain.
Keeps the peace with your spouse!!! February 12, 2010 Shelly J. Simpson (North Royalton, OH) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This alarm is wonderful. I get up VERY early to exercise before work. This alarm makes sure I don't wake my husband up -- way before the crack of dawn!!
Does what I need it to April 10, 2010 Norsican (AZ USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The missing directions on how to make the alarm go off at the time specified instead of going off once every hour is preventing me from giving this 5 stars. Luckily, someone on here has already provided directions. Once that is taken care of, this watch is great! I got it because I wake up much earlier than my boyfriend and this prevents him to waking up to my early alarm. I find the vibration just fine to wake me, though I am a light sleeper, so those who sleep through trains and earthquakes may not like it. I worried about the buttons being pressed while I slept, but that hasn't happened yet. All in all, it's been a great solution for me.
works well for those able to read April 21, 2010 Seymour Kottik 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am deaf and I find this product works for me. I would prefer a stronger vibration thus the 4 not 5 star review. After reading the rest of the reviews, I am amazed at the problems which are all covered in the instructions. If you can't figure out how to set the time, the alarm, the stopwatch, and the hourly chime (on/off) have an 8 year-old read the instructions to you, because they are all there. This is an inexpensive product that does what it advertises and is worth what I paid for it.
